Woodworking Studio 1 is a beginning level woodworking class that focuses on the proper and safe operation of the common machines found in a typical woodshop. The class will address basic techniques for using the miter saw, table saw, jointer, planer and router table. We will use these techniques to make an elegant box.
Students will also learn about the nature of wood, methods for gluing and machine setup. Materials for this class are provided. Class size is limited to eight.
