Pen to Page is a generative writing workshop intended for writers of any experience level. We will use each class to unearth new pieces from the hidden corners of your brain. Each session consists of two prompts, followed by 20 minutes of writing time. Writers will have the opportunity to share new writing and receive supportive feedback from other group members, focusing on the imaginative strengths of each piece. You are guaranteed to surprise yourself with the stories you find inside. No class February 19 and March 5.
Instructor Bio: Andrea Scully likes to write stories for the page and screen. She has written for Walt Disney Studios, Fox Studios, Blue Sky Animation, Amazon, PBS, ABC Family, and the Disney Channel. Andrea received her MFA in Fiction Writing from Sarah Lawrence College and is currently working on a novel. She enjoys parenting her two girls (except when they won’t go to bed), sampling outrageous ice cream flavors, and surprising loved ones with care packages.
