The Art and Craft of Writing a Children’s Book

ID : 6673
« back to classes page
Kids want to be entertained. Authors today are competing with phones, tablets, movies, videos and technology of all kinds, so your books must sparkle. This class is for writers who have worked on a picture book or chapter book manuscript and want to develop it to completion. Stories will be distributed by email to class members so we can analyze structure, revise, edit and critique works in a friendly, positive atmosphere. We will examine agents and publishers as to what they are looking for, and by the end of the session, you should feel confident that your work is ready to be sent to a publisher or an agent.
