The Flow of Watercolor: Loose Expression of the Figure

ID : 6452
« back to classes page
The most important and revealing aspect of the figure is gesture. With the option of keeping features to a minimum, use a few colors and intentional strokes to reveal the emotion and composure of the figure. Find your unique expression as you explore color, composition and style choices. Learn the basics of human proportions with pencil and watercolor line sketches that serve as your foundation for loose approaches to watercolor. You will be exposed to a variety of styles and techniques through class handouts and demonstrations. Develop your unique vision of the figure while referring to your own and/or instructor's photos. Some watercolor experience is recommended.
