ID : 6409
« back to classes page
Writers at all levels—who create works of short fiction, memoir and literary personal essay—will practice blending the structural elements of narration, summary and scene with fictive elements such as sensual detail, dialogue, conflict and structure to build clearer and more marketable prose. Class exercises and weekly assignments will be offered, but the emphasis of this workshop will be on the in-class evaluation of the student first drafts through revision. Be prepared to write, read, analyze and be inspired. No class on September 10.
