Financial Literacy Basics for Young Adults and Adults

Each week, students will learn basic information that will help build a foundation that leads to financial security. Topics covered will include money, banking, saving and compound interest, credit vs. debit cards, cost of borrowing money, and investing. The following areas will also be covered: the cost of housing, mortgages and renting, cost of automobile ownership, traveling inexpensively, and filling out your income tax.

Please read:  Students will receive their meeting ID to participate online using Zoom. Please refer to your registration confirmation for your meeting ID. If you are a minor ages 16-17, please complete the Community Education Course Intent to Participate, Students Ages 16-17 form with your parent or guardian and e-mail the completed form to info@marincommunityed.com. An Enrollment Services associate will contact you to enroll you in the class.
