Would you like to feel more awake, alive, and present for your life? By helping you understand your own body and mind, this course encourages compassion and appreciation while diminishing criticism and self-doubt. Using a mindfulness-based approach, it cultivates affectionate, caring attention to inner experience, leading to improved wellbeing and self-empowerment. Taught by a retired mind-body medicine psychologist and a retired surgeon, the class combines guided body scans with mindful sitting, standing, and walking practices, plus group sharing.
